Help! 2000 Saturn V6 LS2/L300 won't start

Fair enough. And yes, I did my homework, and that is one way that I could check to see if the belt still worked appropriately. I have all the info I need, thanks for your time. No more need for your lengthy replies.

If I have further questions, I will start a new thread with the question. Also, if I purchase the car, I'm sure I will either buy a manual, or research before I open my mouth (or fingers to type?).

Again, sometimes its nice to simply ask people who know more than you. That's why forums were invented, to bring people together who have a collective knowledge base, and share ideas, pictures, knowledge, funny ****, you name it. I'd ask my dog what he thought about this car, but all he would do is bark. I may not know all the intricate details of the inner-workings of cars, but that speaks nothing of my intelligence level. No need to talk down to someone who asks a question. Hell if everyone was afraid to ask stupid questions, how would a forum work?

Pick the brain yes. Have the forum give you step by step instruction on every move, No! Go read how to do the needed tests and how to use the needed tools to do so. That engine needs to be assembled to the degree you can run a compression test.
