I'll try to make this shorter. I started the car--no light--pulled the key and let it idle for at leas 15 minutes, put the key back in ,left it running for another 5 minutes or so stopped , restarted , nothing I did today showed the security light. It's working , at least it shows as I startup.Didn't drive anywhere though. I'm just going to ignore it, If it quits, I have BCAA to tow it! BTW -Where would the resistor be in the key- in the plastic end?Doesn't seem like anywhere else for it?

Oops.

The old GM VATS had the resistor in the key. Passlock II has the resistor in the ignition switch.

Duh.
