Default Hello

I changed the battery in my 2001 sl1 a few weeks ago and it has been working great! However, I went to start it yesterday and when you turn the key nothing happens, the dash doesn't light up or snything and it won't even "click" the starter. I am wondering what is going on? Thanks.

Hmmm -- could be a bad (not clean/tight) connection between your new battery and the cables.

Also, the main battery cables could be internally failing. Battery acid will sometimes get under the cable insulation, and eat the cables up from the inside (like termites). Are the cables flexible, or do they "crunch" when you bend them? If the crunch, replace 'em.

I agree with OA. Probably a loose ground cable. Either that or your alternator crapped out and you've been running off the battery and now it's dead.

Yep that question has been addressed a time or 200 in the past 20 years. A simple site or internet search may have been the first thing to do.
