Yeah, that's gonna be a huge "crunch" and then "blaaaaat" as the wide-open exhaust makes itself known....
BUT...
It's a cool idea, if he can avoid ripping it off and gets a permanent hanger involved there...and keep from getting asphyxiated at the same time!
I'd like to hear it!

I bought a 4" wide stainless hanger for it.
As far as the fumes go, there is no problem because the tip sticks out far enough.
It would be the same as if it were out the back.
I drive over 3 sets of train tracks every morning and night so they are not a problem. I have two big dips on the road on my drive and I just slow down for them

So an update on the exhaust. Since August I pulled it all down and solid welded the whole unit. Installed with a new hanger bracket and installed 15" tires. I have absolutely no problems with the set up and I don't bottom out now with the bigger wheels.
