I own a 97 Sc2 and am interested in a performance exhaust that wont require a second mortage to pay for. If any has any sugestions please respond... Edited by: 97sc2

See what your local exhuat shop wants to do the job. By local I mean not one of the chains.

yeah, your local shop can probably build you one rather than having a whole one delivered, that would make it cheaper because your only paying for pipe, muffler, cat (if your upgrading), and labor with a 'pre-built' your paying for the name of the company, engineering, and the labor to put it in. besides the custom built gives you something not everyone has. i wouldn't imagine you'd pay anymore than $200 (even that's probably more than you'll pay) for a custom set-up.

This is correct. The muffler is what will probably cost the most. With a muffler and no cat, I was quoted at $100 for custom piping. Its the cheapest way to ge and you won't be paying for the heavy stainless steel that will never be seen.
