Yep. They're hard to find though.
Has a 2.0l supercharged ecotec.
Same as the 05-07 cobalt Ss.
08-10 cobalts got the same motor, but turbo'd.
And the cobalts cost almost triple because of the bowtie. Great car though, I love it. Definitely a fun weekend car for me.

The redline has all the makings of a good daily driver... When you keep the revs low, it's just an ecotec... It's when you hit 4 grand that you know something is up...

I don't need to wait for 4 grand on my weekend fun toy,it's right off the start go power, but it is expected to go by everyone. It's a Mercury Capri (Mustang look-alike)

Very nice.
The good about the supercharger is you have boost right away, but unless you have the front end planted well, wheel hop kills any of initial go we have.

Very nice! Any pictures?

Actually I have zero wheel hop in first... But, the PO had the boost turned down with the torque management area of the PCM... I see what he did there... I thought it was something more clever, and then I read into tuning... So, I have LSJ soundtrack and maybe LE5 acceleration in first gear, and then I spin some in second if the surface isn't 100% perfect...

That tuning sounds all messed up.
Now, I don't know much about tuning, but that just doesn't seem right.
I understand why it would be tuned that way, but at the same time its putting more stress on 2-5

Well, there is some reduction stock, but he amplified the effect, I think. I just got my UltraGauge hooked up, I'm pulling 14-15psi in second and third gear, but only 3.x psi in first... That will be fixed in the new tune, I'm sure...

...and I noticed the boost bypass mod hasn't been done, after about 6k, it drops to about 12psi...

That definitely isn't tuned right.
12psi is stock.
14-15 seems to low for what you have. You should be 16-18.
Good. You dont want the bypass mod, unless you wanna blow up that m62.
Dropping is normal after hitting full boost.
