Default My Redline

Hey guys,

Incase anyone is wondering over here, this is what I have been doing with my spare time.

So far I am running an option b tank with a dual pass endplate, progress rear sway bar, magnaflow muffler, AEM SRI, fe5 shock and strut swap on all 4 corners with ssc springs.

By mid next week I should have a zzp mid length header/down pipe with a 2.5in cat-back exhaust, zzp s3 front mount heat exchanger, 2.9 pulley (thinking about picking up a 2.7/2.8 instead), smaller belt, 1 step colder plugs, and 60 pound injectors.
Also debating on going to a full AEM CAI that I picked up for basically pennies. If not, I will just sell it.

I have pictures in this thread:

Or I can post here if the link needs to be removed.

oh ****, he referred to a competing forum! The nerve!
Sounds like fun!
I have no idea what most of it means other than it will drink gas faster, breathe easier, have smaller pulley thingies (most guys like to boast about size but whatever) and it has a lower center of gravity than your average redline.

Hell, post some pictures over here. Stop hiding on that other forum -- you can be in two places at once.....

The smaller the better
Feel free to ask any questions.
Im addicted to the boost, got in the car last night, stepped on it, and it just wasn't enough.
I really need to hurry up and get the car tuned.

That's my plan Charlie!
As much as I want to make her look good and fast, the satisfaction of having a quick little car that no one expects to have any power is even more amusing.

What's the heat exchanger for, Billy? Is that part of the turbo that will help it cool off quicker? I ask, simply because I don't know.

Go ahead and ask away
In theory, because like everything else, its questionable to whether it works or not, but the purpose is supposed to help cool the antifreeze quicker.
The supercharger gives off a lot of heat, so it basically has its own cooling system through the intake manifold. The stock intercooling system for it is run through the stock radiator. Now, what this will do, is mount in front of the ac condenser and radiator to get hit with air first as basically a step one cooling agent. It is a dual core, so that helps out a lot, too. And as you see, I have a second coolant tank for that reason. And to back that up, I have a dual pass endplate on the intake manifold so coolant runs through the laminova cores twice instead of the stock four times.
The cooler the blower/intake manifold is, the more boost I can build.
Oh, I forgot I also put a phenolic spacer on. Which is basically a half inch intake manifold gasket so its not metal on metal with the head. I cant think of what its made out of at the moment, but ill have pictures up of that soon.

Hope this makes sense. I just got off a 15 hour shift and exhausted. Again, feel free to ask any questions. I dont mind!
