OK.....here's a picture of the pressure/clutch sensor switch with the connecter off. That's the part I want to replace. It's on the upper right side of the fuse box. It looks straight forward to remove and replace. There are 2 wires to the connector with labels - a dark green "A" and light green "B" . Light green "B" has 12+V when the A/C is on high and the A/C button is lit. Unable to test V out from dark green “A” but no V to the clutch. This part may not be the problem but it's low labor and cost to eliminate it. As always, thanks for the assist.
OK.....this is it - GM part # 21030824. A friend of a friend got it from GM dealer. It's discontinued and my Google search came up blank with no one having it available. Now what? Suggestions?
Try adding refrigerant to the system to see if you even need one.
However, you seem obsessed with replacing a part not in production that may or may not be bad, and can only be tested by raising the system refrigerant pressure anyway.
Knock yourself out.
