End of another era

Grand Caravan. Well, I don't even know why I asked. I really like the 3.3 as I had one with over 200,000 miles on it that ran like a champ. All I ever had to do to it besides regular maintenance, was change the water pump at 160,000 miles or so. After spending all this money on the dog, I've got about $70 left to my name until payday. I couldn't buy it and come get it anyway.

Didn't those Caravans come with the 2.2L? I think that's what a former coworker's son told me. Way back in the day, he had a dead Plymouth Sundance with a good body; and a good running Caravan that had been rear ended. So he swapped the Caravan engine into the Sundance and later did a full turbo rebuild. Had a friend race it for him as he couldn't get his license until he was 21. That was one of those "mind blown" moments as I never heard of anything like that before. I just know that it was a ripper on the street.

Grand caravan has around 170k on it. Transmission rebuilt less than a year ago.
not sure what kind of shape its in.
He told.me it needs at least 2 tires. And the starter is out on it.
probably be in the 1800 range once I get it squared away.
When I'm ready to list it I'll send you pictures and info first
Didn't get a chance to go get it. But I did look at a 3 car shop that I'm interested in renting.
I believe they had a 2.4 as an option as well. Like what was in my stratus. Still debating on throwing another engine in it. Lmao

Thanks for the info, Billy. You'll need to sell it locally. Right now, I can barely pay attention! And Chickenbone, the early Caravans DID come with a 2.2. They moved up to the 2.5 and 3.0 and later put the 3.3 and 3.8 in them. Somewhere along the line the 3.6 and 4.0 became the engines to put in them. I don't have the time frame, nor do I care enough to look up which generation had which engine. Worst oil burner I had was an 89 GC with the 3.0. All it needed was valve seals.

Signing the papers to rent a shop this week.
property is going to auction and I have about 5 weeks to get everything off of it.
rental coat is going to go up so im probably going to get back into part outs along with trying to flip some cars.
The issues just never end.
