my coolant fan went out and i replaced it afterward i still had codes for it it pulled diode out of wiper curcit to check and put it back in wrong spot one pin was in wiper and one pin was in fog light spot car died and wont crank checked all fuses all good .tried used bcm and ing switch same thing tryied secuity reset same thing feeling very stupid for causing this headache just want to be driving my great ion again.

 

Wiper diode on 2.2 and 2.4 and fog light fuse are nowhere near each other in the UHJB.

So no clue what you're talking about.
Post a pic of your fuse box that shows what you did.
Security does not prevent cranking, only running.

Please answer the following questions:
Model
Mileage
Do wipers function?
Do fog lights function?
How did you test the wiper diode?
Whas the wiper diode good or bad?
Does the engine crank if you you short the starter terminals

 

That's what I thought.

 

I put 1 spade of the diode in the right pin of fuse box and the other one to pin on the right of it that's when the diode melted and car died out would not crank after that does the ignition ground through ecm could I have brunt that up?
it is a 2006 135'000 miles on it randy great before that

 

You came back, we will have to find the point of failure in you electrical system.
As Derf has already asked what works and what does not work.
We can dig into the schematics after you report what if anything still works.

Half of fuse box has no power like injectors and ignition but lights windows locks all still work
