The engine looks great. Did you get the block bored and put oversized rings and pistons in it? If so, how much over did you go? Sorry you missed out on some parts, derf.

So far around $2.500 including: crankshaft, 94 rebuilt head , boring the block to 0.50mm, pistons, rings, all gaskets, water pump, oil pan, all mounts, all cooling hoses, spark plugs, wires, etc. Started at first try. Runs good so far.

I got to go oversize since one cylinder was heavily scratched by a broken piston.Found 1993-1995 Saturn 1.9L 4 Cyl Set Of 4 Pistons H845CP +.50MM Federal Sealed Power on eBay. The old crankshaft been scratched a little bit , the shop undersize it too much and I have to buy a new one, got it from rockauto , apparently the last one.

Apart from the difficulties due to the lack of access to everything under intake manifold once the engine is in the bay, the two half days install process is like any 4 inline car/engine from the 90s. The only surprise ! have was the micro mist of oil parallel to serpentine belt at first start, solved easy applying a drop of gasket maker under the washer of the harmonic balancer bolt. Solution found on this forum (somewhere, cant find it again) ! Thanks for keeping this forum alive.
