Default Rolls in Park

2007 Vue v6 AWD 160k
Picked it up cheap due to frame issues. Fixed frame issues, and replaced driver front wheel bearing.
Drove fine before the work being done.

Backed out of my shop, put in drive, and a weird rubbing noise occurs. Also occurs on right turns. Believe to be from rear diff. Checked fluid and it's ok. Then noticed when I put it in park it rolls backwards.

I know there was a recall on the parking pass for this vehicle. No idea if this was done.

What else can I check to determine the issue.

Visit nhtsa.com, go to recall section, enter your VIN and it will tell you if there are outstanding recalls on your vehicle

Thanks for the link. I doubt 10years later it'd be covered. But I found the issue. CV axle joint came apart. Just have to reseat it.

Tell us what you did to the frame?

True, but it could have shed light on the issue...
