I'm troubleshooting my daytime running lights not working right. I was missing my relay, replaced it. And i have led lights in my headlights, now when I start the car and throw it in gear my lights will blink and then go off and stay off. Is this because of the led bulbs or is it the resistor? Thanks

 

Aftermarket bulbs often don’t work with factory daytime running lights. The factory daytime running light usually run in series to drop the voltage. On my L series cars the drl system runs the high beams on half voltage. The later L cars run the low beams on half voltage. When I put LED bulbs in trucks at work, I disable the DRL circuits. LED bulbs often run at full brightness on half voltage or they can flicker.
