02 SL2 headlamp operation, (Normal)??
I drive a lot at night and the lights are terrible. I just added LED driving lights, and i'm thinking of bypassing the DRL system. I prefer all lamps on. I took the bumper and nose off and fabricated brackets. I made a custom harness and cut out the bumper cover. I haven't had it out yet as i'm still wiring the switches. The LED lamps have a bright and dim setting. I made the harness with extra wiring to the headlamps if I choose to bypass the drl's.
Thank you for your quick response.

I agree the lights are not great. The set that I have in my car right now are great on high beam and only so-so on low. I had a perfect set of factory lights that were wonderful but that was two deer strikes ago. Welcome to the forum.
There is usually not much left of the little black tail deer I seem to hit at 60 mph. They do seem to break stuff on my cars though. I don’t even stop unless the car is bleeding fluids so badly I can’t get home. LOL
Hmmm, I'm not familiar the black tail, so don't know what weight range you're dealing with. But at 60 mph, hitting a full grown white tail doe or buck will do some major damage to a car! And a lot of the time, the frigging deer will go miles deep into the woods before it dies from injuries. Not worth stopping unless it's a broken neck or direct kill. And you don't want to hit a 20 pound turkey at that speed either!
