I have a 2007 Saturn VUE hybrid. I replaced a failed; SGCM - Generator Control module, with a used one. It starts and then stops. I need to update the VIN in the module so it is compatible with my car. I am not sure if this is possible with a USED module. The dealer service manual might tell you but I don't have one and was wondering if anyone has the answer about the reprogramablity of the modules VIN. ?
