Hey y’all I’m having an issue with my 2008 Saturn vue not shifting out of park. Cranks up without any issues but when I try to shift (automatic transmission) from park to drive it’s not registering it plus the shifter is loose from R-M but locks in when placed back into park.

 

Sounds like a shift cable issue. Maybe it is disconnected at the transmission end. Look below the master cylinder I do not have any pictures of what to look for.
