Based on the run n die for 10 minutes, I would say that the CKP sensor was still sending crank position info at start up, then after a few seconds the CKP signal became distorted in some way and the fuel and ignition shut down.

The "I pushed it" comment leads me to another question: How full was your gas tank at the time? Any chance you sucked air into the fuel pump/

No chance of air.., the tank of fuel had 35 miles on it... Hadn't come off full mark yet, even...

cross that off the list.

Maybe a freak glitch, maybe a bad sensor, dirty connection, goalie's voodoo....
Let's hope it doesn't happen again.
If you want to try to reproduce it, you know exactly where and how.........

I'm hoping it was just a fluke... I am not trying to replicate what happened, that was a huge PITA to work around... All I can say is no more playing on the dirt road for the Redline... I'll still use the road, but from now on, keep the throttle mostly closed, instead of mostly open, lol...

you mean "brownies", right?

You two would lure me to a dank NO neighborhood, point at a lifesize poster of a RL that Goalie made, then as we got nearer, you'd roll me before the locals could roll any of us and leave me to die, which would be via the cardboard RL puncturing my skull clear through b c goalie HAD to buy the higher quality cardboard......
