Thanks a bunch for the replies. I'll head over to the auto parts store and see if they can get me just the motor.

My only concern is that I don't really have a great working environment (a ramp and such) and I found it a little hard to work under the car. But, if I can figure out how to safely get under there, I'm all for doing the work myself.

Welcome to being a shade tree mechanic, I've been doing that since I was 16, which was back around the time of the dinasours. Driven a lot of cars I could not afford if I did not have a set of Ramps to get under them and a hammer to beat on them with.
Haven't found a woman that was willing to support me in a manner I would like to become acustom too. And the odds are getting longer that I ever will.
Hint, when you don't have ramps you can park on the street with one side on the street and the other side up on the curb. Although if you try this in the rain it gets a tad uncomfortable.

The nut to the fan blade is left handed.
