Default curious about headlights

our 2002 sc2 has the typical condensation inside the headlights .i took them out 1 time and wiped them out with a reach tool and a rag .only to be disappointed the next morning when they were exactly the same way as befor .

question is

has anyone replaced theirs with new?
did the condensation problem stop with new ones?
or did the new ones do it as well?

i would hate to drop 150.00 on a set and have the same problem with new ones .

I can't say it'll work for everyone, but I had the same problem on my ;98. Ultinately, I used a dremal tool and carefull drilled a #80 hole in the bottom of each of the plastic lens housings. The moisture collects in the bottom of thelens, andweeps out leaving s dry lamp lens ...

so yours dried up then ?

i thought about doing something like that .these lenses already have a weep hole with a small rubber fitting on it .but its located in the corner and apparently doesnt work very well.

my lenses dont pool up or anything ,just constantly have condensation inside which prohibits good lighting.

(Sigh) -- a #80 drill equates to a diameter of 0.0135 in/0.343 mm
