I haven't bought power steering fluid in at least 15 years. My old s cars don't leak a drop.

Like I said, wasn't implying you did anything wrong -- I'm just not up to date on today's PS technology (that still uses fluid)

Please read up on Saturnfans.com about the drum to disc conversion and you will find out what the plate is for and where to get one. They have excellent tutorials/how-to's on this topic, which is part of the reason why we never duplicated it.
