Well guys....
I'm good, the kids are good and the wife is still suffering from a botched surgery back in November. Got a new dog about 2 months ago after having to have had my beloved pooch of 16 years put to sleep last August. How's your life been?
RJ- Congrats man! Ive been looking for a second job too, as its summer time and the restaurant industry starts to slow down.
Rube- Aww, sorry to hear about the wife, hope she gets better. What kinda pup did you get??? My baby just hit 14 years old, eeeek!!
Its going. Just taking everything day by day.

We got a rescue dog from our vet. Someone had tossed her out of a moving vehicle and then she got hit by another car. Some lady had seen this happen and picked her up and took her to our vet. Her back and right leg were broken, but rather than euthanize her, Dr. Batey used a new method of laser type surgery to fix her up. They kept her for four months at the vets office and then my wife and I happened to run into one of the girls that works for the vet, at Subway. She told us she had the perfect dog for us and we should come check her out. We went the next day and Dr. Batey let us bring her home, free of charge! She knows how we take care of our dogs and that they become a part of our family and not just a dog out in the yard. Sadie is part dachshund and God only knows what else. But, she's a good dog and has quickly adapted to indoor living. LOL She's good company and therapy for my wife, and even though I still miss my other dog, I'm quite fond of her too.
That's such a sad story with such a good ending though!!! It seems like she went to a good home
I just don't understand how some people can be so cruel. It breaks my heart. Pics!!! and its good shes keeping the wife company, dogs can be so loyal and understanding.
RJ, wooooops, congratulation on the new job!! haha

I'd love to find a part time job, but the nepotism around here is rampant. So, congrats on the job, Rj. I'm sure your wife is happy too! LOL
I'm surprised that my son finally landed a job at Walmart after applying for four years straight. I guess maybe someone finally decided that if he was that persistent, they'd give him a chance. He's a sharp kid and knows his stuff about electronics. I guess that's why they hired him. I don't do pictures, but will get my daughter to post a pic of our pooch. She's a very sweet and aggravating dog. She's only 11 months old and is still learning what she can and can't chew on. LOL

Our first dog was a sheppard mix. She was half-siberian husky. She was colored like a sheppard, but had the husky blue eyes. She loved my kids and is someone she didn't know came near them, she was a force to be reckoned with! I had to have her put down at 14. I still miss her too.
