I used to work at a ski area near Lake Tahoe. I drove a Subaru for a time and found that they can indeed get stuck. Any car can get high sided in deep snow. Although it never happened to me after I changed to a Dodge Ram 4x4 truck.

Thanks for the tip on the fuel filter. I will be looking for a Chilton/Haynes book on the car the next time I am in a auto parts store....which will be soon.
