Default i need help!!!

I have a 02 Saturn sl2 auto that I'm looking to know a couple things about.
First is it has 182k and it burns oil pretty bad. And i was wondering if it would be better just to get the motor sleeved or see if I can just put new rings in it.
Second is I want to put a 5 speed in it and was wondering what all i need to get or if its even worth it. Let me know thanks.

Zach welcome to the site. Take your questions down to Saturn Sedan forum and get to know Octavious. He has done all these things within the last year, and he will be able to help.

I have done all of that, but not on a Saturn. If I were to do a transmission swap I would look to buy a running parts car. Chasing down bits and pieces is a bit much if you don't have to. Personally I don't think it is worth the effort but that is my opinion. It is a good transmission and quite versatile. As a 4 speed automatic with a lock up torque converter it is the equivalent of a 5 speed anyway.
As to the oil consumption? The only way out is to go through a rebuild. Current suggestions apply as stated.
Enjoy
And welcome.
