hey guys,

im posting for a friend with who has a 1995 saturn with the 1.9L 16V
DOHC. he's having an odd problem with it, the car will seem to
run fine, then begin to stall, studder and quit. he says it
happens everytime he get gas, which leads me to think it's the gas cap
and not enough pressure in the tank. but, this little lack of pressure
in the tank wouldn't make that big of a difference would it??? sooo,
that brings me to the fuel pump. does that seem like the symptoms
of a car with a failing fuel pump?? all vaccum lines seemed fine,
and im goin to change plugs on it tomorrow just to try something cheap.

Thanks in advance for any advice guys!!!!

a couple things to check if u can check engine rpm with a scantool to see if the crank sensoris loosing signal, also check knock activity to see if the pcm is retarding timing during accel, one last thing is to check the dis module for proper spark delivery and plugs.
