I just replaced my turn signal switch and now it doesn't turn off after you turn. So it did before replacing so I'm not sure what to do now.
Also, is it safe to drive it like that? It's my only vehicle but I don't want to run the risk of an electrical short while driving. Not sure what to do now. As I took it back apart to look at it and put it back together to find the same issue. I noticed that the new one doesn't fit as snugly as the old one. Not sure if that matters or not. I'm new at this

I have had the replacement t/s switches not cancel properly. The VUE and the L series cars use the same switch. Not cancelling will not cause you a problem with your car. It will be extremely irritating to other drivers if your blinker stays on. The switch probably does not fit properly, another switch might work perfectly or it may be the same.
