I have a broken wire for the rear window wiper on my 2000 saturn wagon. I need to remove the cover on the steering column. I can get the sides loose but not behind the steering wheel. I hope I don''t need to remove the steering wheel. Can anyone help me out here? Thanks in advance, B. A.

All you have to do is remove the screws and the ring around the ignition cylinder. Then the two halves just seperate.
