94 SL2 automatic shift cable issue
i bought a shift cable for my 94 sl2, i have it all installed correctly, the adjuster is open, and the cable seems like its too long? it works fine until i try to put it into park, then it pops out of the bracket on the backside of my transmission... anyone know of anything i can do to fix it??

if it's dorman it's unfortunately usually crap
sounds like the cable may indeed be too long
try the saturn part -- or at least bring the dorman to the dealership to see if it is indeed too long -- you then have grounds for return
you may run into the "we wont order it unless you pay up front" from the Satty dealership if it is not in stock. for obvious reasons they are keeping inventory to a minimum
get the satty part and it should fit
