hey guys, i installed a aftermarket android tablet head unit in my 2004 vue redline and was wondering what adapters etc you need to get to continue using the factory sub.
The factory cd/dvd player has 2 connectors, one which is the speaker etc harness which is normal and then it has a smaller black connector that also plugs into the factory head unit...
i figured thats the sub power etc bc when i put the factory head unit back in and hook both harness into it the sub works.
Ive had NO luck what so ever finding the right harness adapter. I would even consider cutting the factory harness etc if i could find the pin outs and what does what on that harness so i could wire it in w the aftermarket radio to still use the sub.
any help would be greatly appreciated. I really want to use the factory sub and box without having to run a new amp etc.

 

Check this wiring diagram from charm.li. Radio wiring diagram for RPO code U2K

Go down to Diagram 3. It shows two connectors, the one on the left has 4 wires that go to the subs. If this is the wrong diagram, backtrack and find the correct RPO code.
