Default Question

I have a vibrate after I put a new center bearing in the driveshaft it's awd and also did the u joints . is this normal . my car is a 04 saturn vue

No, it shoud not vibrate. Have you ever repaired a driveshaft before?

I throught it maybe just something else idk I can feel it when sitting in my driver seat it not bad

Did it vibrate before you worked on the driveshaft? You can remove the driveshaft and drive your Vue as a front wheel drive I believe.

The bearing was shot so it was not all brand new . so idk

Pull it out and rotate it a 1/2 turn (180 degrees) and reinstall it. Maybe it's not in the right position?

I will have to try that .
It don't vibrate b4 just couldn't tell because the center bear . and there no marks for the driveshaft to line up . i should of mark it but didn't think b4 Hand just wanted to fix it

All the u-joints should line up if you see what I mean. I don’t know if the center yoke has a master spline on your car. If there is a master spline the yoke will only go on the splines one way. On your original posting you were looking for the snap ring the holds the driveline together. That is where most drivelines shake if you misaligned the splines. As long as you did not bend the tubes when replacing the joints.

That could be the growling I hear in the morning as well as the clunking I hear after it's warmed up! It's been stumping every mechanic!
