07 vue 3.5 v6 water pump replacement coolant pipe gm12581525 discontinued for many years. Will odysey pipe of same year
fit?

 

People have argued over whether the 2007 and earlier Saturn Vue V6 is / was identical to that used in The Odyssey and pilot.

Apparently the fuel injection is different, some of the emissions setup is different, and the Saturn Vue variant of this engine was built solely for Saturn Vue by Honda.

However, the Saturn Vue version is still considered part of the Honda J35A4 engine family.

So to answer your question: probably will fit but can't guarantee. The equivalent Honda part is available on eBay for $35.

Thanks for the response, I'm dealing with corrosion at the thermostat end and if odysey pipe is a little different I think I can modify to work. Ordering pipe I also saw on eBay, $35 is small change if I can get it to work. Vue is my mother's daily and she she only drives local a couple times a week. 250,000 miles and running strong has had for 26 years!

 

Update: Turns out that this Saturn doesn't have the production Honda 3.5 (J35A4) engine it supposed to have.. 3.5 (J35A6 or A7) is what I had which was used in 2007 Ridgeline and some 07 odessy vans. I ordered coolant pipe for 07 Ridge line and was an identical match! Fit perfectly! Same color too!😁
