Catch Can with PCV Valve in VUE 2008 XR 3.6
Hello All!
My VUE have lost oil engine because not have install PCV Valve. I was searching in the internet and found out that the 3.6 LY7 engine has no PCV valve. So Then install a catch can to prevent oil from reaching the throttle body hose, but that does not prevent oil from leaking.
Has anyone tried to install a PCV valve on this engine?
On the Rock Auto page it specifies that there is a PCV valve for the 3.6 engine, but I am not sure if I buy it because in reality I do not know if it fulfills the function in the VUE engine. PCV VALVE

Seems to be a design issue and both a mod to the size of the holes in the metering valves and a catch can seem to work. Based on my four minutes of reading. This engine was used across the GM line so if you search by "ly7 pcv" as I did, you should find all kinds of info and probably examples of how people addressed it.
