No, this is not the original battery. The car is a 2008 and I bought it in 2013. I have had 3 batteries since then, and I'm sure I'll be buying another one today.

Bad alternator diodes allowing current to back drain straight to ground. Get your charging system load tested. It should stick out like a sore thumb

Do you lights pulsate at all? If so, the diodes are bad and AC is getting into the system. Not good.
