SL2 rough idle

99 SL2 with 150,000 miles. turn on the ignition, let the fuel pressure come up, then crank the engine. occasionally, and it is happening more often lately, the engine will idle a little rough for about 5-8 seconds, then smooth out. there doesn't seem to be a clear pattern, though it happens more often 1st start of the day or if it totally cold. Not sure if this is related, but when I come to a stop, the engine returns to idle more slowly than before. I have cleaned the throttle body, changed air cleaners, and I run quality fuel. she runs fine, other than this glitch. I have not pulled the plugs, not sure if that would help.
Thanks

urchinTracker();</>Did you pull the engine codes. It sounds like coolant temp sensor to me.
My 99 dohc did the same thing. I replaced the cam position sensor, and that didn't seem to help much. After I replaced the coolant temp sensor it started fine and idles normal again.
