Default ???? Saturn ??? whining noise

Start your own thread next time in the correct section and fill
In year and model.

I have a whining noise coming from front driver side when turning left and accelerating but then slowly goes away. I replaced the valve body recently and changed trans fluid and filter and then the noise started happening. Sometimes if you try to get on the throttle it will whine a little bit and it does match the throttle response so it stops whining if I left off the throttle. I don’t know what I could of done wrong I’m hoping someone can help me out or point me in the right direction. Thanks

Getting on the throttle when not turning left?
Can you reproduce this noise with a vehicle in park or neutral or only when it is in a forward gear?

Are you sure the transmission fluid level is full?
What did you use for transmission fluid?

Pasted from private message

so I recently replaced the valve body and didn’t have any issues doing it. I also changed the fluid and filter and I used fram dextron-3 and put 4.5 quarts in the transmission and after all of that the whining noise started. It happens when making a left turn from a complete stop and then gradually goes away after and it matches the throttle so if I let off it stops whining and it will also whine a a little bit if I get on the throttle while going straight. It will also whine a little worse in the cold morning then will act how I said it normally acts once it warms up. It does not make the noise when the car is in park or neutral only in drive. I have no idea what would be causing this noise and I would really appreciate if you could point me in the right direction.

Just offered a 2009 redline with 18000 miles. After per week of riding, I am noticing a whining noise among 45 and 55 MPH. Automatic transmission. Sounds love it is probably coming from differential. Any ideas?
