Exclamation Saturn SL2 1998 -Immaculate - T Boned

Is there a process to repair this?I am crying.https://share.icloud.com/photos/0e1i...9larc9Adxv5XEQ

Appears my immaculate (Original 1998) Saturn SL2 may have approached an end of life scenario due to this Tbone. Apparently the B Pillar was bent inwards an inch or 2. Do not know if it is salvageable. Also due to age expect them to place an incredible low value on the vehicle despite its perfect state. (Rarely driven for past 20 years) 150K miles. Anyone have any insight into its possible Value and if the B Pillar is repairable at low cost ?

The other guys insurance company won’t care about the condition of a 27 year old car, they will not offer enough money to get you anything in similar condition.

The doors are easy, there are plenty in wrecking yards. Finding someone to pull the B pillar back to the right spot will be the trick. They total new rigs with damage like that. One of our new Diesel pickups got hit a little harder than that and I drove it to the “Aluminum “ body shop 50 miles away. They paid us to replace the truck including all the options we added.

It is worth more as parts now. A good running twin cam is desirable.

Just my opinion.

Unfortunately since it is a space frame design, the integrity of the frame is compromised. I'm not sure you could pull the whole frame straight.

An original DOHC that has not been rebuilt is indeed desirable.

If you're willing to do some work yourself, you can remove the fender and doors and get the car to a reputable frame repair shop.

Let them pull the door jam back to where it belongs, then you take the car home and put it back together. The frame shop will
need the replacement door and fender in order to fit it and get everything straight. In fact, they'll probably hang them on the car
for you.

It wont be nearly as expensive as you think if you're the one doing the disassembly and reassembly. All they're doing is a few
hours work pulling the jam and fitting the door. A few hours work may be less than $500 if you're doing the reassembly yourself.

And make friends with the man doing the work. Many of these guys do side work, and they're invaluable when you may need
them for something else down the road.
