The OP mentioned he had seen videos of people replacing the clutch by moving the transmission out of the way vs removing it. I was confirming that I had done it that way successfully.

On the manual trans the input shaft seal is part of the bearing assembly. I remember a while back I read about someone exploring taking it apart to access the seal but I don’t think there was an update on the project.
