Default Reverse light problem

Hi there,

This may seem a little on the "duh" side, but I recently began learning how to do my own repairs to my car. I am having a problem with my back up lights not working. I've replaced the bulbs and the fuse. My car is a manual transmission. What else should I be checking?

Next question will be .... Location of back up blight switch .... it's on the transmission.

The picture does not show the wires plugged into the switch, but I'll assure you you'll find wires with a connector plugged into the switch, unless some retard unplugged the lead. Your welcome
