Hey all,

I hopd you can help with this. I have a 2002 Saturn SL with just turned 101,000 miles. A month ago the car started having a miss. It sounds like a muffled basketball hitting the ground out of the exhaust. I replaced plugs, wires, TPS, MAP sensor, 02 sensor and ran SeaFoam through the intake.

The car sounds fine when cold, after a minute of heating up, the miss starts and stays often, yet intermittent. This is only at idle, if I rev to 1200 or higher it goes away.

Here's the funny thing though, if I disconnect the MAP sensor the car runs fine. This is why I replaced the MAP sensor. However, even with the new MAP sensor the car still behaves the same (unplugging the new one still makes the car idle steady).

I've checked for vacuum leaks but can't see any, and seems to me a vacuum leak would get worse at highway speeds.

Any input is appreciated.

Thanks!

The only code I got so far was a P0133 and it was an '02 sensor slow response'. That's why I replaced the 02 sensor in the beginning.
