cylinder 4 misfire

my 2002 sl2 is reading a cyl. 4 misfire. After some trial and error i believe it is the injector. i am going to change it. has any one had this problem,is it common in this car, or does anyone have any ideas. the car has 64,000 miles.

Chinny,

Check these first:

1) Plugs
2) Wires
3) Corrosion on posts of coils (clean with emory cloth)

How bad is the "miss"? Does it idle roughly? Accelerate roughly?
Does it go away after the car warms up?

Wouldn't suspect a bad injector at 64K....

Check the simple stuff first (if you haven't already)

thanks.. it was the injector. changed it and all is fine...except wallet. It is a dealer item only so they hold all the cards...and my$159.00 just for the part
