I have a 1994 saturn SL1. The lights were working just fine as of Sunday evening and then they went out up front. My fog lights are fine. The normal driving lights went out and the brights won't stay on unless I hold the lever on while driving. I have replaced the bulbs. Please let me know what to do next. The brights at least come on but have to be held and the normal drivers won't come on at all? I checked to see if the fuses were broken and they looked fine. Please help. Thank you all in advance.

 

The 94 Saturn SL1 never ever came with factory fog lights not evan in Salt Lake City Utah so help us out here.

sounds to me like an issue with the multifunction light switch on the column -- the facr that you can get the brights to stay on while holding the switch tells me the hi beam relay is intact but that the switch innards are not as they should be
