Default advice on repairing the dreaded intake manifold leak needed

I just got that metal replacement piece in the mail and plan on doing this tomorrow. Is there anything I should be looking out for/expecting? How long should this take approx?

With the power steering removal, what all is entailed in that? the youtube videos dont seem super in depth so any help you guys can give is much appreciated.

Thanks for your time.

Yes -- RUN (do not walk) and get your manual FIRST!

I may sound like I'm preaching (possibly), or up on my soapbox (probably), but that manual is gonna become your best buddy/pal before you finish this job. The days of tuning a car with a #3 flat screwdriver and a three pound hammer are gone, nor will you be shimming out a carburetor with a paint mixing stick and red gasket putty. For everything to turn out all right, a roadmap (manual) is essential .....

I ordered a manual but this is my mode of transpo so its time critical. Started working on this today. Got everything off except the dang manifold.

theres a bolt on the drivers side that is underneath the piping that is holding it in. how many nuts do i have to remove before it is officially free?

also, how do i get at that one nut? i cant fit any of my wrenches or sockets under there to get the leverage to loosen it.
