I have a 1998 Saturn SL and I have been having the ER brake light go on intermittently, it seems to go on only at night and only when I accelerate. I have run the codes and nothing has come up but it is yellow light so I know that there is something wrong. Has anyone else had this problem and if so what can I do about it. I changed both of my wheel cylinders because they were leaking last year and I also replaced the shoes both of these things were done in Jan 2008.
Any suggestions would be great.
Thanks,
Dee

Hmmm ...

I suspect that your light may be coming on during the day as well, but is not being noticed due to the color of the light and the brightness of the day.

Anyhow, check again the fluid levels in your master cylinder, and also check the proper movement/actuation of the level sensor. Also, check the switch that is triggered when you set the ER brake too. Of course, there might be a loose connection somewhere ...
