I've also been told a long time back that the bulbs are dealer items but I find it hard to believe gm was the only one to source these. the biggest question indeed is WHAT bulb goes in there.

j.d are the bulbs you're pulling marked?

i am told by most places that this bulb doesnt exist: 17035
I was about to order the pc74's. and the guy that could finally get them (napa) asked what they went to..... we looked up the part to be pc 118. when they came in, they were WAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYyyyyyyy bigger than the stock bulb. I didn't buy them for fear of them not fitting, plus the contact point and mounting tabs werent the same as the stocker. can anyone confirm the specific bulb that they have used, and without problem?

kenny ,thats a napa part number ,only napa can reference that number .
i posted pics of the original bulbs and the replacements i used .
the replacements worked just fine .
or go to ebay for the pc74`s they look just like what i used ,napa was just convenient for me .

hhmmm tried to post a link but the links wont work ..forum thing?

anyway just go to napa online and input the number in the search window then scroll down a bit and the bulbs are there .

go here to see what i used
