I have a 97 Saturn SL2 about to reach her 200,000 mile birthday in few months, and I'd like to keep her until she retires on her own. I've never had any real problems until recently and I have a feeling this is somewhat minor. A couple weeks ago, I was going out of town and my car died on me. It turned out to be the alternator, had that fixed and was on my way. My power windows have not worked since then and my ABS light stays on. Every time I replace the fuse, it blows as soon as i turn the key. The shop that fixed it is about 12 hours away and I won't be there for another 2 months. Does anybody have an idea what could be the issue. I know nobody can be 100% certain, but I'd rather have some idea before taking it somewhere that wants $200 just to look at it. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
