The reverse lights on my 92 sl (5 speed manual) are not working. I've replaced the bulbs but thats not the problem. I've checked the fuses and all seem to be good. Is there another switch somewhere? I thought maybe there was one attached to the stick shift.

the backup light switch is mounted in the top of the tranny case by the shift linkage, accessible from under the hood. quite easy to pull and replace. 17 years is a pretty good lifespan for one of these.....
