2001 SL2 will crank, but not start

What you are supposed to do is to crank the engine momentarily (do not start) then let the key go to the run position for 10-12 minutes. Then turn the key off for approx five seconds and repeat. Holy Smokes, is that for real?? First I've even heard of a process like this...

WOW! Whahoo!!! That was it! that did the trick!
Thanks So So much, I never knew about such a thing, and the previous owner told me specifically that there was NO security in this thing.

(now, where are my side-cuts? I wanna cut that security system out of my car!!! lol )

Man, that is awesome that you got it fixed. I've never heard of such a thing. My son is looking at some used Saturns online because he thinks he's going to settle his lawsuit within a couple of weeks. As much as I don't like Chevy, I do like the Saturns. They're great cars and pretty easy to work on too.

Hell yes...never even HEARD of a technique/process involving a Saturn security like that!!
