All timing marks are behind the timing belt cover. There are repair manuals in the forum/general/general tech help section. If the timing belt jumped time you will have bent valves also. Sorry.

moved to L series section.

Never worked on an L car myself, so I'm not of much use on this one. Someone else should come along and chime in.

A Haynes or similar manual would prob help you out with the whole timing procedure. Usually money well spent.

so you were replacing the timing belt as preventative maintenance?

car was running and the timing belt was remove

I'm not making fun of your typing or english language skills or anything like that -- I just don't understand what you're trying to say.
