I replaced steering wheel column on 2002 Saturn lw300 now car wont start
please help, car was running fine before i replaced steering wheel column, think i need to reset anti lock device but how

 

To reset the passlock system you need to do a relearn. This procedure takes 30 minutes to complete. You have to repeat the 10 minute portion three times to complete the relearn.
1. Turn the ignition on.
2. Momentarily rotate ignition to crank. (DO NOT START VEHICLE)
3. Wait for 10 minutes.
4. Observe SECURITY telltale changing from FLASHING or ON to OFF.
Important: If ignition is turned off before telltale changes state, entire relearn procedure must be restarted.
5. Turn ignition switch Off.

Perform this procedure three times.

Vehicle will start on the next ignition switch cycle.

 

We tried that still nothin, wat else can we do, we think its the fuel injectors need to be reset, but how

 

The fuel injectors are INHIBITED by default when the car is in Security mode.
What is the status of the security light

• Before you put the key in the ignition
• While cranking

Is it solid lit, flashing, or off?

The resets do not always take the first time. Try several more times.

Be sure to follow the steps exact;y as stated. You are focused on the security light going out at the end of those 10 min periods. If it is not turning off, then you are not actually performing a relearn.
Hook up a battery charger or jumper cables to a running vehicle. The procedure also will not take if your battery V drops too low.

 

We tried that 3 times 11/2 hours and still nothing, the first two times light flashed, third time light was solid, did that 3 rotation times, 1 and half hours.

 

After the ten minutes did the light change? Either from on or flashing to off? That is when you move on to the next step.
