Help! LW2 3.0L Throttle Body
Hey guys! Brand spanking new to these forums. I'm in desperate, dire need of finding a new, refurbished, or used throttle body for my daughter's 2000 Saturn LW2 wagon (her first car) with the 3.0L V6. The throttle body has been discontinued and I can't seem to find one anywhere.
A little back story, we recently bought the car a couple of months ago and after maybe a month of ownership, we were experiencing intermittent throttle surging, and mostly in gear. My mechanic traced everything back to the throttle body being bad. Not sure on the exact details with it, but no other shop was able to give me any answers except this one.
So I have to ask... Does anybody have a spare one lying around? Or know where one is? Ebay, the 'parts direct' stores, LKQ... Nobody has one.
Thanks in advance!

Has he tried a throttle body relearn so that the ECM can relearn the position of the throttle body plate? Did this occur after you cleaned the throttle body? If you did a good enough job, the throttle plate position may just need to be relearned.
If you removed the throttle body from the vehicle to clean it, it definitely needs to have the return procedure run for the ECM to know where the throttle plate is.
Does the car have a check engine light? If so, what are the codes?
