I have a question, i can't get my crank pulley off, the video on YouTube says 6 bolts and it slides off, but mine has a e20 bolt in the center holding it on. My Milwaukee 1/2 inch impact wont budge it, and if I try to leverage and turn by hand it just turns the motor. Any ideas on how to get it off? Heat? Is it reverse threaded? I tried turning both ways, no luck, but just curious which way is correct. Please help. Thanks

It looks like a rust issue is causing trouble. The center bolt is only removed to replace the belt sprocket and crank seal. Lube with a rust cutter and maybe some light heat. You do not want to go deeper than needed. It looks like the balancer has turned on the sprocket and is covering the bolt holes in your picture.

I didn't notice, but maybe it has moved. Im sorry for asking for clarification, but i just want to make sure i understand what you are saying. Are you saying that center bolt does not need to come off to remove the pulley? Because that lip around the bolt is in front of the pulley. Or are you saying it does need to come off?

Do not remove the center bolt unless you need to change the oil seal behind it. This is the belt drive sprocket with the balancer removed. This is not the best drawing. I will look for a better drawing.

unless that plate behind the flat part is part of the piece behind the pulley. But if the pulley rotated off set from those bolt holes, then it shouldnt be stuck on it by rust, I think the only thing keeping it in place is that bolt

The line you see is the timing mark for the belt. The balancer is stuck on the back side. Add some lube and keep working it. You will understand after it comes off. The balancer is recessed on the back side to center it on the belt sprocket, the six bolts only hold it together.

thank you for that, it does make sense now. Typical me overthinking. I have a question for ya, does this look out of time?
